Class Descriptions

 

Yoga Classes
Pulse Yoga - Iyengar Style (All Levels)
Designed to build a strong foundation for our own practice. This class focuses on learning fundamental Yoga poses (Asanas) and also breathing techniques (pranayama). Yoga postures will be taught to help with alignment, strengthening the upper and lower back, and abdominal muscles. The emphasis of this class is to reduce stress, increase flexibility, health and tranquility. All Levels welcomed! Beginner friendly!

Yo-Lates (All Levels)
This is a Yoga/ Pilates combination class. Gain the benefits of both, by encompassing stretching, core strengthening, toning, and lengthening with an overall sense of awareness. You will see the difference in our posture, flexibility, balance, and your overall sense of well-being! All Levels welcomed!

Ying-Yang Yoga (All Levels)
Experience balance in this combination practice. This class incorporates a mild/ intermediate level Vinyasa practice to get the Yang energy flowing, and longer held postures to bring the Yin out/ Iyengar style. It will also bring the dynamics of synchronizing breath with movement. There will be long holding postures and stretching to assist in creating mindfulness with our bodies. Pilates Mat (All Levels)
Designed to strengthen your core and elongate muscles. Tones and firms while connecting mind and body. All Levels Welcome!

 

Dance Classes
Belly Dance
Come experience a beautiful combination of Tribal Belly Dance Drills,
Flowing movements, and a whole body conditioning. This is a fitness oriented belly dance class. All Levels welcomed!

Chair Dance Fitness
Talk about a fun, great workout!! Need to change it up? Want to become more self- confident? Want to learn some really fun, creative dance routines? Come give Pulse's Chair Dance Fitness a try!! No dance experience required. All levels welcomed, and women of all ages welcomed! You will learn some Yoga, Pilates, Dance routines, sexy dance moves, chair holds, chair flipping, and much much more!!

 

Pole Dance Fitness Classes
Pole-Lota-Fun Basics Beginner Class.
Come experience a fun, energetic, female empowering, whole body conditioning class. You will learn basic pole tricks and routines, chair dancing workouts and routines, whole body strength training, and endurance. BE PREPARED TO ENJOY THIS FUN WORKOUT! All Levels, Women Only, and ages 16 years and up welcomed. If you are not 18 yet, you must have a parent or guardian come to the first class to sign waiver! This class is for ladies that also want to see if you want to move onto leveled classes.Pole Strength & Technique * Must have completed level 1 or up to 2 drop in classes Need to build some more strength, or just gain some for you to pole dance well? Learn correct techniques with your hand and leg positioning as you perfect moves and learn new ones. You will also learn proper techniques for advancing in your level.Beginner Classes

Pole Level 1 (4 week course)
Level 1: Starting from the ground up! You will learn 20 beginner pole, dance and floor moves. You will also learn how to incorporate these moves, which tighten and tone your body. You will learn your very first routine! All fitness levels are welcome, and no dance experience required. This is a fun, fantastic, new workout! Level 1 is the foundation for all our pole classes. $ 100.

Pole Level 2 (4 week course)
Level 2: Take what you have learned in Level 1, and move on up! Pole tricks start to get a little more challenging. This is when you really get to know your body. You will start to learn more technique, including 15 new pole moves and floor moves. Which will blossom you into beginning to start your own choreographed routines. $ 100

Pulse Pole Levels 1 & 2 (8 week course)
Come experience a fun, energetic, female empowering, whole body conditioning class. This class involves Yoga, Pilates, Gymnastics, Dance(Jazz, salsa, Hip-Hop, flair, Ballet and much, more)! You will learn basic pole tricks and routines, chair dancing workouts and routines, whole body strength training, and endurance. We welcome women of all ages! BE PREPARED TO ENJOY THIS FUN WORKOUT! You will learn 20 different pole tricks and spins, flowing movement and dance routines, chair fitness routines, combo moves on pole with the chair, Pilates, Yoga, strength training and endurance, cardiovascular series, proper foot, hand, and body placement, choreographed routines, and a graduation party! Fills Fast so Register ASAP! 8 week series $ 300 (Includes 1 Free Pole-Lota-Fun class a month, In Studio Graduation Party, and Certificate of Completion for hours if wanting to become instructor).

 

Intermediate Classes
Pole Level 3 (4 week course)
Level 3: Become one with the Pole! You are now feeling more confident with your abilities. Starting to do more inversions, climbs, spins,etc. You will learn 10 new pole, dance, floor, and routines. Moving to advancements in your body! $ 100

Pole Level 4 (4 week course)
Level 4: Step it Up! You will be introduced to even more challenging moves, as you explore the pole in many different directions. Upside down, sideways, and up to new heights. Connecting body with pole. See the new you in level 4. $ 100

Pulse Pole Levels 3 & 4 (8 week course)
Time to quick it up! You saw your body getting stronger, leaner, and begin to get that balance and coordination from levels 1 & 2. Just wait to see you after levels 3 & 4! You will begin to put an expertise to the tricks and routines from Levels 1 & 2. Begin getting comfortable with INTERMEDIATE inversions, spins, grabs, holds, and much more! You will learn 10 new moves including an intermediate Pole Dance Fitness routine, including chair, and wall placements. You will also begin to incorporate your own style and music to promote your own new sexy, leaner, and stronger self! Graduation Party Held @ Pulse with Friends and Family! 8 week series $ 300 ( Includes 1 free class a month, In Studio Graduation Party, Certificate of Completion and hours for Teacher Training Program).

 

Advanced Classes
Pole Level 5 (4 week course)
Level 5: You are now physically and mentally stronger. Feeling yourself in many challenging positions on the pole, you will begin to allow yourself to take more risks to become a beautiful art form on the pole. You will begin to take everything you have learned and combine it with a fantastic routine of your choice. $ 150

Pole Level 6 (4 week course)
Pole Level 6: Let people be in awe of your powerful moves. You will fully be acrobatic and have the flexibility to do almost anything you would like on the pole. This is the class where you take yourself to your highest potential and level. Most decide to become instructors after this class. $150

Pulse Pole Levels 5 & 6 (6 week course)
This is the time to master the pole at your own level. Intermediate/Advanced class. This class goes into detail on advancing spins, transitions, movement, dance, and pole gymnastics. $ 300 ( Includes 1 free class a month, In Studio Graduation Party, Certificate of Completion and hours for Teacher Training Program). * You will begin your 30 hours of assisting and participate in teacher training workshops. You will begin to start teaching after assisting hours!

Teacher Training Course (6 week course)
You must have completed levels 1-6. People that have taken double class courses ex. Levels 1&2, 3&4, 5&6 do not have to take this class. But, must attend half to complete assisting hours. This course is for people that want to pursue Pulse Pole teacher training Certificate. This course is designed to teach people on safety, how to instruct, teaching floor routines, chair routines, pole routines, etc. Applies to credits for National Group Instructors, and many more national associations. It also is recognized by International Pole Dancing Federation. $ 600
